From Siena to 4 Weddings: this is the story of the bride and groom Janky and Giulio, two lovers who decided to say their ‘I do’ in a rather special way, in front of the cameras for the programme Quattro Matrimoni in Italia, hosted by Costantino della Gherardesca. The programme, based on the English format Four Weddings aired on the Sky Living channel, features four brides competing against each other, who judge the wedding ceremonies of their ‘rivals’; there are four evaluation parameters: venue, dress, food and overall event.
“It was an amazing experience,” comments Janki, “we had the best day of our lives. I had the chance to share my day with three other girls with whom I immediately bonded and had a great time.”
“It was a fantastic experience, we had so much fun,” says wedding planner Benedetta Vittori, also from Siena, like the bride, who organised a wedding based on cocktails.
The wedding, celebrated in Lucignano and then in the Bichi Borghesi estate in Casole d’Elsa, took place at a special moment, right on the first day of reopening after the stop due to the Covid emergency: ‘we sensed people’s desire to be together after such a long time,’ says the wedding planner.
The music of the already well-known group ‘La combriccola del disco’, specialised in the ‘wedding’ environment, combined with the love of the newlyweds and the Tuscan venues, although not leading to victory, contributed to making Giulio and Janky’s wedding an unforgettable day.
