Celebrate your wedding in the Pieve di Corsano, near Siena! The church has been well-known since 1031. The façade, organised in two orders, with small arches and semi-columns in the upper part and large blind arches in the basement part, is inspired by Pisan models interpreted in a Lombard key. In the three-nave interior, Romanesque elements are evident in the half-pillars of the counter-façade and in the composite pillars of the first nave. The rest of the dividing arches, in terracotta, date from a later phase. Two paintings (under restoration) by Alessandro Casolani, the Annunciation and the Adoration of the Shepherds, and a polychrome terracotta sculpture depicting St. Agatha, attributed to Carlo di Andrea Galletti, are worth mentioning.
