Villa Le Querce

Built on the foundations of an old 18th century post station, Villa Le Querce was used for years as a stable for housing animals and as a hay store. After giving birth to two daughters and in the absence of male heirs, the Branconi family stopped work on extending the barn. The two sisters Enza and Milena grew up, and Enza married. In 1997, before Enza’s husband’s death, the two sisters promise him that they will work to complete the farmhouse the man had so desired.

In the early 2000s, the two sisters kept their promise and began the work that led to the construction of Villa Le Querce. Only two kilometres from the Abbey of San Galgano, Villa Le Querce is also easily accessible by horse-drawn carriage. The large park can accommodate up to 150 people, who in case of rain can find shelter inside the large halls.

Villa Le Querce has four flats, a large common area with a fireplace and a large kitchen. In addition, there are two large rooms that can be used for banquets, as a dance floor, or for meetings, training courses and yoga sessions.

The swimming pool and the surrounding park are for the exclusive use of the villa: during the summer, they are an oasis where one can relax and spend pleasant evenings in contact with nature. The villa is surrounded by woods and, on clear nights, by stars that seem to be within reach.
